#AFCONU20: Flying Eagles still in control of group A

The Flying Eagles are still in control of their group despite playing a goalless draw in their second group A match against Amajita South Africa on Tuesday.

Nigeria’s U-20 team played a goalless draw against their South African counterparts in a game they could have easily won.

The Flying Eagles were the better side from the blast of the whistle to the end of the game but never made their ball possession count as they were frustrated by the South Africans.

The Flying Eagles who won their first game of the campaign against Burundi thanks to two second half goals were uterly disappointed by their efforts but the result involving their other group members must have calmed their nerves.

In the other game involving the teams in Nigeria’s group, Burundi came back three times to secure a 3-3 draw against the hosts Niger in front of their fans.
