AFN announces constitution of Technical Committee
The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has officially announced the constitution of its new Technical Committee on 13 June 2025. This follows the successful Elective Congress of the Federation held on 12 June 2025.
The committee has been set up to strengthen technical operations and development programmes across Nigerian athletics. It will operate under the leadership of the Technical Director, Gabriel Okon, and will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the Federation.

This committee brings together a wealth of experience, expertise, and dedication to elevate the AFN to new heights.
The AFN Secretariat will provide full administrative support to ensure the committee effectively carries out its mandate.
