African Games: Sport Minister Sunday Dare Congratulate Team Nigeria

Nigeria’s minister for youth and sport, Mr Sunday Dare has congratulated Team Nigeria’s contingent to the 12th African Games after finishing 2nd place at the Games.

Team Nigeria won 127 medals despite having only two weeks camping in three different states in Nigeria for preparation for the Rabat Games.

The minister took to his official Twitter handle to express his excitement over Team Nigeria achievement at the 2019 African Games.

“Rabat 2019- All Africa Games- winds down tonight. Congratulations to Team Nigeria for an excellent and inspiring outing. Total Medals for Nigeria : Gold 46. Silver 33. Bronze 48. A medal haul of 127. Placing Nigeria second after Egypt.” Dare wrote on Twitter.

Nigeria won 127 medals that included 46 gold, 33 silver and 48 bronze medals.
