Afrobasket2019: D’Tigress blitz Cameroon 106-39 to finish top of group B

Nigeria’s women national basketball team D’Tigeres punished the Cameroon Women national team to finish their group unbeaten at the 2019 Afrobasket tournament.

After am impressive 75-26 win in their first game, D’Tigress continued with a resounding win against Cameroon.

Five players posted double figure points to help the defending champions secure their second win and a place at the top of the group.

Aisha Balarabe 14 points, Promise Amukamara 14 points, Adaora Elonu 14 points, Ify Ibekwe 14 points and Ezinne Kalu 12 points contributed 68 of the 106 points.

The defending champions are the only team to have reached the 100 points mark at the 2019 tournament.
