After 37 years, three-time NBA champ and coach of the year Bryon Scott bags University degree
Bryon Scott has successfully completed a university degree programme 37 year after he left the walls of school for a professional career in Basketball.
Bryon Scott bagged a degree in Liberal Studies at the Arizona State University, the same school he left for a career in the NBA in 1983.
Picked at number four during his draft class in 1983, Bryon Scott won three championships with the showtime Lakers in 1985, 1987, and 1988.
Bryon Scott who also played for franchises such as Pacers, Grizzlies had a second spell with the Lakers in 1998 where he played with the late great Kobe Bryant who he also coached in 2014-2016.
Despite his success on the court and off, the 2008 NBA coach of the year ensured he completed his University degree and he gladly announced with great joy on his social media page.
‘Now I can really say that I’m proud to be a “Sun Devil”! After 37 years I went back to college & finally got my Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies! It’s never too late! @ASU #ForksUp #classof2020 #graduate #sundevils,’ he wrote on his Twitter account.
