Semi Ajayi was perfect against Liverpool
Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has scored his first Premier League goal of the season at Anfield to earn West Brom a 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
The former Arsenal product who has played in all tiers of English football scored his first ever in the topmost league on Sunday.
Saido Mane opened the scoring for Liverpool as early as the 12th minute and it looked like th game was ending 1-0 in favour of Klopp’s men.
But Semi Ajayi rose the highest to head home the equaliser in the 82nd minute.
Semi Ajayi produced a masterclass in the game against the best team in the land.
He won all his tackles, made seven clearances, three ball recoveries and scored with his only shot.
In fact, he wasn’t dribbled past and he didn’t commit a single foul as Sam Allardyce men secured a point against the table toppers.
This is his first Premier League in 14 games.
