Ajibade to the rescue as Nigeria begin WAFU Women Cup campaign with a win
Rasheedat Ajibade scored a late winner in the first group B match between Super Falcons of Nigeria and Mali in the ongoing 2018 WAFU Women’s Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.
Incidentally, Rasheedat Ajibade late winner secured Thomas Dennerby his first competitive win as Super Falcons head coach.
Mali arrived late because they replaced Benin Republic that withdrew from the tournament few days ago yet showed they were no pushovers as they gave the Super Falcons a good fight.
