IKOYA FC VS OXYGEN FC
Ikoya Fc of Uyo will face Oxygen Fc of Eket in the first semi final of the 2022 Akwa Ibom Grassroots Football league by 1pm on Wednesday 4th May 2022 at the Onna Township stadium.
Ikoya Fc have always entertained with their attacking prowess scoring 15 times in the league this term but against a defensively disciplined Oxygen Fc a tricky tie awaits .
How will league top scorer (10) Samuel Okure of Ikoya Fc fare against Oxygen Fc’s inspirational Captain and defence ace Micheal Jackson is one question on the lips of fans and followers of the Akwa Ibom Grassroots Football league .
This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams .
EAGLE EYES VS FULLIFE FA
On paper the biggest game of the last four based on current form and the rivalry from the Preliminary where both teams battled for top spot in Uyo zone.
Eagle Eyes Academy hold the bragging rights having defeated Fullife Football Academy in the preliminary round plus edging them to top spot in the zone howbeit by the slimmest of margins (one goal difference).
In the Semi Final, the stakes are higher , a place in the final awaits the winner of this contest which many say is a final before the grand finale.
