Akwa United have released their official 2025/2026 season team photo, days after finishing the first round of the Nigeria National League (NNL) on a high note.
The players, dressed in the club’s away kit featuring Ibom Air as the jersey sponsor, posed alongside club chairman Joseph Eno and the technical staff led by Coach Paul Offor.

Akwa United ended the first half of the campaign on top of NNL Conference B after a 2–0 away victory over Rovers FC at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, on Saturday. Goals from defender Yannick Menegbe and midfielder Anietie Uko secured the club’s sixth win of the season and their second consecutive away triumph.
