Akwa United v Abia Warriors: Boboye keen on keeping Warriors’ unbeaten record

Abia Warriors will be keen on keeping their unbeaten record in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season as they take on Akwa United.

Kenedy Boboye who is Abia Warriors Head Coach Spoke Exclusively to SportsRation about keeping their unbeaten record and the Akwa tie: “It is going to be a very good game, he said.

“We know that the Akwa side can be difficult to play but we are ready. I have a good team that can match their attacking strength. We are very discipline in our defense too.”

The vibrant Coach also spoke about the importance Abia Warriors attach to their unbeaten record: “It’s very difficult this days maintaining unbeaten records in the NPFL mostly when you play away, so it is very important to us to play to our very best.”

The defense of Abia Warriors has proven to be rock solid this season conceding just 5 goals in 8 games while Akwa United will be aiming to continue with their impressive home records when they take on the Abia Warriors today.

Abia Warriors will be without Bolaji Sakin who is out due to Hamstring injury. Chisom Chikatara is also out due to a minor brain issue.
All the players of the Promise Keepers will be available including defensive Midfielder Yusuf Adio and  forward Kufre Ebong who was out due to ill health.
