Alex Iwobi confident of Fulham victory over Manchester United
Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi is confident his team can replicate their success against Manchester United from last season when they meet again in the opening game of the 2024–2025 Premier League season.
Iwobi played a crucial role in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United last season, scoring the winning goal. As Fulham prepares to visit Old Trafford on Friday, Iwobi is eager to start the new season on a high note.

“I mean, we were able to do it last season,” Iwobi told Fulham’s official website. “Hopefully, we can do it again this season and start the season strong. It is a great test against Manchester United, one of the best teams in the Premier League, away. It is a good challenge for us.”
The Nigerian international added, “Last time out was one of my most memorable moments in a Fulham jersey, but I am trying to create more. So, maybe we can do it again and create more, but it is all in the past now. It is about the present and hopefully doing it again.”
