Alex Iwobi ranked top 3 amongst players with most distance covered in PL

Alex Iwobi has been ranked amongst the top three players who have covered the most distance in the Premier League after 22 rounds of games.

The Nigerian midfielder who has been one of the if not the most brightest spark for Everton this season is receiving the recognition worthy of his effort.

Alex Iwobi has been played in different roles by different managers and in each role, he has done a great job.

His tireless runs, important tackles, blocks, and coverage, make him an important player for Everton under Frank Lampard and now, Sean Dyche.

Alex Iwobi’s work rate and contribution defensively were evident over the weekend as Everton secured a shocking 1-0 win against Arsenal.

Arsenal’s most important player, Bukayo Saka was reduced to an ordinary player over the weekend at Goodison Park, thanks to Alex Iwobi and Vitalii Mykolenko

Alex Iwobi supported Vitalii Mykolenko in closing down Bukayo Saka by shutting the line of the pass and his movement spaces.

The Nigerian midfield is always running back and forth covering the most distance by any member of his teammates and at 226.9km he ranks third after James Ward-Prowse and Declan Rice.
