Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set for lengthy lay-off
Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could reportedly be set for a significant amount of time on the sidelines.
According to The Mirror, the 22-year-old has been sent for a scan to determine if he has damaged knee ligaments after going down during Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League.
It is feared that Oxlade-Chamberlain could miss a chunk of the Gunners’ run-in as they chase the Premier League title and his absence may hurt his chances of playing for England at Euro 2016.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, recently scored his first away league goal for the North London side at Bournemouth.
