Al-Farouk Aminu to the rescue as Portland Trail Blazers beat Phoenix Suns at Moda Center
The Chief came to the rescue as Portland Trail Blazers secure a 118-111 win over Phoenix Suns after they nearly blew their 27 points lead in the third quarter on Tuesday at the Moda Center.
The Blazers’ forward was at his very best on Tuesday night as he stuffed his stats sheet and nearly got a double-double.
Al-Farouk Aminu was only on the court for just 28 minutes but the time he spent on the court was all that Portland Trail Blazers needed to overcome the stubborn Phoenix Suns led by Devin Booker.
After Devin Booker rallied to reduce Portland Trail Blazers 27 points lead to just 8 in with 3:30 left on the clock, Al-Farouk Aminu dropped two threes to restore his sides healthy lead to 117-105 with 1:12 left on the clock.
The game against the Phoenix Suns was Al-Farouk Aminu Portland’s first game back home after a four-game road trip. The Blazers dropped consecutive games to Houston, New Orleans and Minnesota.
