Ancelotti Wants Real Madrid Fans to Remember Him as a Good Manager
Real Madrid’s outgoing manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has shared how he hopes the club’s fans will remember him.
Ancelotti is set to leave the Spanish club to become the head coach of Brazil’s national football team.
The 65-year-old Italian will take charge of his final LaLiga match for Real Madrid this Saturday when they play against Real Sociedad.
Speaking at a press conference before the game, Ancelotti said he would like the fans to remember him simply as “a good manager.”
He said: “How should Real Madrid fans remember me? A good manager. Time puts everyone in their place. I know special days are coming. I am very happy with the way I was treated.”
Ancelotti is the most successful manager in Real Madrid’s history. He won five UEFA Champions League titles during his two spells at the club.
