Antonio Conte eyes Ademola Lookman transfer to Napoli

Ademola Lookman scored on his return from injury, but it was not enough to save Atalanta as they were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by Club Brugge.

Napoli manager Antonio Conte has urged the club to sign Ademola Lookman as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Kvaratskhelia left the Serie A champions for Paris Saint-Germain in January.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte sees Lookman as the ideal long-term replacement for the Georgian star.

Reports say Napoli are ready to offer €50 million for the Nigeria international, but Atalanta are expected to hold out for around €60 million for their key player.

Lookman has also been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona after a superb season. The 27-year-old scored 22 goals and provided five assists in 46 games for Atalanta across all competitions last term.
