Carragher advises Guardiola to get rid of Bravo now!

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has advisesĀ embattled Manchester City boss to get rid of ‘not good enough’ Citizens first choice goalkeeper Claudi0 Bravo whom he signed during the last summer from Barcelona.

The Chilean goalkeeper has been under serious attack following his repeated school boy mistakes and not good enough displays that had denied the Citizens points after points and slimmed their chances of winning the Premier league.

The former Barcelona was again under heavy criticism by fans and pundits alike for his woeful display against Everton during City’s 4-0 defeat at the Goodison Park over the weekend as the Ronald Koeman side scored from all their shots on target.

Jamie Carragher said on Monday night football that Claudio Bravo must be replaced as he is not an elite goalkeeper.

“I think Pep Guardiola should get rid of every one of his defenders and goalkeepers save John Stones because of his age and the amount of money they paid to sign him.

“For Manchester City to be successful and compete with a lot of these top teams, Claudio Bravo must leave the club. The goals he conceded against Everton would be saved by De Gea, Courtois, Lloris and Cech.

“He was brought to City because he is good with his feet, yes, a Pep Guardiola keeper must be good with his feet but I’ll tell what else Pep Guardiola keeper must be good at; one v one and Bravo never ever good at one v one.

“Pep team will always suffer against a good counter attacking side which leaves the goalkeeper in a one v one situation, at Bayern and Barca he had Neuer and Valdes who are good at one v one.”
