Arsenal Women set to Sign Elisa de Almeida From PSG
Arsenal Women are set to sign French defender Elisa de Almeida from Paris Saint-Germain, with the deal reportedly in its final stages.
The 28-year-old centre-back can also play at right-back and would add important depth to Arsenal’s defence. The Gunners have been looking to strengthen at centre-half, particularly with Katie Reid still recovering from an ACL injury.
De Almeida has one year remaining on her PSG contract, with reports in France indicating that Arsenal will pay around **£550,000** for the defender.
The move would give Arsenal another option alongside Leah Williamson, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Katie Reid and Steph Catley.
It would also be Arsenal Women’s first centre-back signing since Laia Codina arrived in 2023. Codina joined West Ham this summer.
