Aruna Quadri beats Lambiet Florent in straight set to set up round 64 clash against Alamian Nima

Aruna Quadri was too good for Lambiet Florent as the highest ranked African player at the 2019 ITTF World championship in Budapest won with ease in his round of 128 clash.

Aruna Quadri dismissed his Belgian counterpart Lambiet Florent (11-8, 11-9, 11-7, 11-5) in straight set to book his place in the last 64 round.

Aruna Quadri who is the only Nigerian player that made it to the singles main event will play against Iranian Alamian Nima who also dispatched his opponent in straight set in the round of 128.

The match between Aruna Quadri and Alamian Nima will be played later today.
