Aryna Sabalenka becomes Gucci’s newest Global Ambassador

Aryna Sabalenka has been announced as the newest global ambassador for Gucci, with the fashion house confirming the partnership on social media.

“Welcome to the Gucci family, Aryna,” the brand wrote. Sabalenka marked the announcement by appearing in Gucci wearing a snuggie paired with high heels.

Sabalenka, 26, has been a regular presence on the WTA Tour for nearly a decade. She turned professional in 2015 and steadily rose through the rankings. Over the years, she has become one of the most consistent players in women’s tennis and is now a multiple Grand Slam champion and former world No. 1.

This is not Sabalenka’s first major brand partnership. She has previously worked with sports and lifestyle brands like Nike and Wilson.

Within tennis, Sabalenka now joins Jannik Sinner as a Gucci ambassador. Sinner has worked with the brand for several years, becoming its most visible male tennis representative.
