Asisat Oshoala emerged as the highest goalscorer in La Liga Iberdrola as the season was concluded after 30 games. The Super Falcons striker ended the season with 20 goals in 19 appearances for her side.
FC Barcelona Femeni ended their season with a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid thanks to goals from Aitana Bonmati and Irene Paredes. The 2020-21 treble winners recorded a historic season as they claimed 30 wins from 30 matches, scoring 159 goals and conceding only 11 goals.
Oshoala has won her first Pichichi, making her the first African to claim the league’s Golden Boot despite missing eight weeks and five matches in the league this season through injury.
Asisat Oshoala has scored 58 goals in 64 appearances in La Liga Iberdrola since making her switch to FC Barcelona Femeni in 2019.
