Asisat Oshoala laments excess ‘ billing ‘ on WhatsApp

Super Falcons and Barcelona Fermini forward Asisat Oshoala is no stranger to controversial social media posts and comments .

This time, Oshoala dropped a tweet lamenting the rate at which people beg on social media messaging app, WhatsApp.

Oshoala on her Twitter handle @AsisatOshoala on Friday wrote about how the app is used by people for “billing” a pidgin slang for begging .

Oshoala wrote in pidgin English “You see that WhatsApp ehn, them suppose don rename as Billing app, cus you see that green App ehn, na billing full am. Who curse that app ‘edakun’? “

Mixed comments followed her tweet with many Nigerians narrating their own personal experiences .
