Asisat Oshoala mocks Van Dijk and Premier League after Lionel Messi inspirational display at Camp Nou

Super Falcons and Barcelona forward Asisat Oshoala has thrown a big shade at the English Premier League and Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk after Lionel Messi inspired Barcelona 3-0 win on Thursday.

The recently crowned PFA player of the year and much talked about Premier League player Virgil van Dijk was no where near the quality he puts in week in week out in the Premier League.

Virgil van Dijk was tipped to make a significant impact in the game especially against Lionel Messi but the former Southampton defender was no match for the Argentine superstar.

In fact, van Dijk was seen begging for support in one footage making the round as Lionel Messi inspired Barcelona to an easy 3-0 semifinal first leg win against Liverpool.

Asisat Oshoala who is currently on loan at Barcelona mocked the performance of the Liverpool defender and the Premier League pointing out that the style of play at Camp Nou will never give Physical Van Dijk the chance against the Catalan giants.

“‘Van what again? Lol
“Na those weh Dey play jam jam football dem Dey body oooo 🤣🤣🤣, Camp Nou na NO TOUCH ME football we dey play.”
