Butler powers Bulls past Raptors, Westbrook posts triple-double & Spurs roll on

Jimmy Butler dropped 42 points and 10 rebounds as Chicago Bulls beat Toronto Raptors 123-118 in overtime, Russell Westbrook posted yet another triple-double in the NBA as the San Antonio Spurs won yet again.

Westbrook made it 17 triple-doubles this season on Saturday, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 121-106 win against the Denver Nuggets.

The Spurs claimed their seventh win in their past eight, beating the Charlotte Hornets 102-85.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls had a hard-fought win.

 

RIDICULOUS RUSSELL

Westbrook was tremendous once more for the Thunder.

He finished with 32 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists in his team’s win.

Westbrook got support from Steven Adams (16 points), Victor Oladipo (15), Enes Kanter (14) and Andre Roberson (13).

 

SENSATIONAL SPURS

The Spurs were comfortable in their win.

LaMarcus Aldridge had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard finished with 19 points.

Davis Bertans contributed 21 points off the bench for the Spurs.

 

BUTLER’S BULLS

The Bulls were led by Jimmy Butler in their 123-118 overtime win against the Toronto Raptors.

Butler (42 points and 10 rebounds) starred, while Dwyane Wade chipped in with 20 points.

DeMar DeRozan had 36 points for the Raptors, who were outscored 33-21 in the fourth quarter.

PACERS, CELTICS WIN

The Indiana Pacers claimed a 123-109 win over the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics beat the New Orleans Pelicans 117-108.

The Utah Jazz rallied past the Minnesota Timberwolves 94-92 and the Atlanta Hawks were too good for the Dallas Mavericks 97-82.

The clash between the Portland Trail Blazers and Detroit Pistons was postponed due to weather.

 

WARRIORS LOOK FOR RESPONSE

The Golden State Warriors (31-6) will be out to bounce back from their shock loss to the Memphis Grizzlies when they face the Sacramento Kings (15-21) on Sunday.
