Aubameyang’s home attacked by armed robbers
FC Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was physically assaulted during an armed robbery attack at his home on Monday morning in Spain .
According to reports in Spain, At least four men allegedly entered the garden of Aubameyang’s home in the Castelldefels area of the Catalan capital.
The men , armed with firearms and iron bars threatened the Gabonesse forward with the weapons as they raided his home on Monday August 28 .
The footballer’s wife was also intimidated as they pushed to gain access to a safe inside the property.
A lot of valuable items were reportedly taken from the safe, including pieces of jewellery, before fleeing in a white Audi A3.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was an unused substitute in FC Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Real Valladolid on Sunday night .
The Gabonesse forward is subject of transfer interest from Chelsea and Manchester United and according to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano , a return to London is close with the blues.
The robbery incident and his lack of game time at FC Barcelona will hasten the forwards departure from the Catalan club whom he joined in January 2022 following a fallout with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
