Awoniyi Could Make England Return With EPL New Boys Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest are quoted with an interest in signing Union Berlin Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi this summer.

 

While a new contract for holidaying manager Steve Copper is the major consideration at Nottingham forest at this time, negotiations are ongoing with several identified targets ahead of their English Premier League return.

 

Manchester United Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is in talks with the club with a loan transfer mooted. Liverpool youngster Neco Williams ,Taiwo Awoniyi and other transfer targets have been notified of the clubs interest.

 

Despite enjoying a fairly Successful campaign with Union Berlin in the Bundesliga last season, Taiwo Awoniyi will be interested in a move to the English Premier League with the forward publicly confessing life would be easier there for his young family.

 

Taiwo Awoniyi joined Union Berlin from Liverpool and would be interested in a return to England where he will possibly get his first taste of EPL action a feature that eluded him at Liverpool where he was constantly farmed out on loan.

 

Nottingham Forest will kickstart the 2022/2023 season with a trip to face Newcastle on the opening day . The club is working round the clock to tie up all deals before Cooper resumes for Pre season.

 

Awoniyi scored 15 times in the Bundesliga last season for Union Berlin and is likely going to leave the German side especially with the Nottingham Forest interest. A bid in the region of €20 million will be enough to take Awoniyi from Berlin to England.

 

Nottingham forest are also holding talks with another Bundesliga player. Mainz Defender Moussa Niakhatè has reportedly held initial talks with Forest and will likely join to bolster the ranks at the newly promoted EPL side .
