Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem was the captain of Boavista as they secured a 3-0 win against highly rated Benfica in a Portuguese League game.
Chidozie who is on loan from Porto to The Panthers continued his top form and was in fact the skipper at the Estádio do Bessa as Boavista secured the famous win.
While Chidozie ensured no goals were conceded it was former Manchester United wonderkid Angel Gomes who lead the attack.
Gomes, who joined Lille on free transfer after release by Manchester United is currently in good form at Boavista where he is currently on loan.
The 20-year-old was on target on Monday and also assisted a goal in the 3-0 win.
So far, this season, Angel Gomes has two goals, four asssits in four league games for Boavista.
