Barcelona starlet, Fati awarded as NxGn World’s best player
18 year old Barcelona and Spain winger, Ansu Fati has been named by Goal as the best player in the world aged 19 and under after the Goal panel released the list of the 50 best players born on or after January 1, 2002.
Fati, a full Spain international is the youngest player in FC Barcelona history to score, and holds a number of records for the Catalan giants since making his debut as a 16 year old. He also holds the record for the youngest goalscorer ever for the Spanish national team.
The top ten in the 50-man list were Fati, France and Rennes midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, USA and Borussia Dortmund forward, Giovanni Reyna, Spain and FC Barcelona midfielder, Pedri, England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham, Germany and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, Florian Wirtz, Netherlands and Ajax midfielder, Ryan Gravenberch, Germany and Bayern Munich forward, Jamal Musiala, Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven forward, Mohamed Ihattaren and Borussia Dortmund’s Brazilian forward, Reiner Jesus.
