“Since November last year and we’re going to the Fourth month, We’ve done a lot of preseason preparation screening and dropping and loading of players this is the last friendly before we go into the last phase of preparation after today the final list will be released were (35) players will now go into closed camping play some friendly matches outside the state basically we’ve played within the state but now we want to go outside to see how the boys will play away matches,The team is 90% set for the league with the caliber of we’ve taken into consideration matches we’ve played the grade (A) friendly matches and the rest I think we’ve something to offer this season all things been equal by the grace of God we are getting our long over due promotion.”

The former Ocean Boys of Brass Boss further stressed that he’s surprised with level of performance shown by he’s lads when playing at the Samson Siasia Stadium despite the short period time they’ve trained on the turf.

“Honestly speaking if I say I’m not surprised then is a big lie the first time they played against Delta Force they did play to expectation because they were new to the pitch it was strange to them but after training and playing matches here I think they’re fully set they’ve adapted to the field you see them improving in every training session and every match we are now home I don’t see any team coming here to master the field more than us and of course of you know this is one of his kind in Nigeria for any team to come here and play more than us meaning the team must have gone outside Nigeria to train”.

He also thanked the fans as well as Bayelsans for their indulgent and massive support.

He however assured fans that this season will be a different season as compare to previous season more especially playing at home which has been the team biggest challenge.
