Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich were drawn against last season’s beaten finalists, Paris St Germain in the quarterfinals of this season’s UEFA Champions League in a rematch of last season’s final in Portugal, which Bayern won. For their semi-final draw, the winner of the tie will face off against the winner of the Manchester City versus Borussia Dortmund tie.
Chelsea got possibly the easiest draw as they were drawn against Portuguese champions, FC Porto in their first quarterfinal appearance since 2014. The winners of the tie will face the winners of the Liverpool versus Real Madrid tie in the semi-final. The first legs of the quarterfinals will be held on the 7th of April, with the second legs coming a week later on the 13th.
In the Europa League, Manchester United face the task of progressing beyond Spanish side, Granada in the quarterfinals, and the winner of their match will face the winners of the Ajax-Roma game. Arsenal face Czech side, Slavia Prague in their own quarterfinal tie, with the winners facing the winner of the Dinamo Zagreb-Villarreal tie in the semifinals.
