Bayern Munich Confident Michael Olise Will Stay Despite Real Madrid Rumours
Bayern Munich are confident that French forward Michael Olise will remain at the club despite recent rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
According to football transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, the German champions believe there is no chance of losing the 24-year-old this summer.
One of the main reasons for Bayern’s confidence is a personal assurance from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. The report said Perez informed Bayern officials that the Spanish club will not make a move for Olise during the current transfer window.
Bayern are said to trust Perez’s word and believe the matter has been settled.
The second reason is Olise’s own commitment to the club. During the recent FIFA Club World Cup, the France international and his agent reportedly told Bayern’s management that he has no plans to leave Munich.
Olise is said to be fully focused on helping Bayern achieve more success.
The attacker joined Bayern Munich in 2024 and has enjoyed an outstanding spell with the Bundesliga giants.
In the 2025/26 season, he scored 22 goals and provided 31 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.
His current contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2029, while his market value is estimated at €150 million by Transfermarkt.
Since arriving in Germany, Olise has helped Bayern win two Bundesliga titles, the Bundesliga Cup and the German Super Cup.
