Bendel Insurance arrive Morocco for RS Berkane make or’ mar CAF Confederation Cup second leg clash
Bendel Insurance arrived in Casablanca, Morocco on Tuesday, September 26, ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup second leg clash vs RS Berkane.
RS Berkane are host for the CAF Confederation Cup second round, 2nd leg clash vs Nigeria’s Bendel Insurance FC on Friday, September 29, 2023.
The Bendel Insurance team flew into the Arab city aboard Royal Air Maroc which touched down at the Mohammed V. International Airport at about 1:18pm.
The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, leaving Monday Odigie tutored Bendel Insurance FC with a mountain to climb in their bid to reach the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Berkane will bank on its superior record at the Stade Municipal De Berkane to see off the challenge of the Benin Arsenal, who must win or at least get a two goals plus score draw to reach the next round.
In a move which underlines their commitment towards getting a positive result in Morocco, Insurance FC have arrived landed in the North African country, 50+ hours before the 9pm kickoff on September 29.
As they go out in search of goals, Bendel Insurance FC will be without the services of prolific forward, Imade Osarehkoe who recently completed a transfer to the UAE.
