Confirming the encounter, Bendel Insurance FC team secretary, Charles Ihimekpen,disclosed on

It is expected that the coaches of both teams will use the match to access the depth, technical abilities and fitness of their players as they look forward to the commencement of the league.
The 2018 bet9ja Nigeria National League will feature forty teams divided into four groups,with Ikorodu united of Lagos,competing in Group B1,while Bendel Insurance will do battle in Group B2, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the super eight.
