Bendel Insurance stun Campos Fc in Owerri, Fc One Rocket fall at home to Cynosure Fc. NNL results for 4/6/2022.

Bendel Insurance climbed to the top of the standings in group B1 of the 2021/2022 Nigerian National League season after a 0-1 win over Campos Fc of Owerri on Saturday 4th June 2022.

Stephen Adodo scored the winning goal to leave struggling Campos Fc stunned again in front of their own fans at the Dan Anyiam stadium, Owerri.

Bendel Insurance leapfrog Gateway United to take top spot in the group with 31 points from 15 matches two more than second placed Gateway United who fell to a 1-0 loss at Adoration Fc in Enugu on Saturday evening.

In other Nigerian National League matches decided on Saturday 4th June 2022, Fc One Rocket suffered a 0-1 loss to visiting Cynosure Fc in Uyo courtesy of Saturday Okon’s 6th minute strike.

Coach Itoro Xavier was taking charge of his first game as interim Manager Of FC One Rocket. The new manager watched in anguish as his players missed flurry of goal scoring chances including a 49th minute penalty . Cynosure Fc goalkepeeper Franklin Akwari saved Abel Abba’s spot kick plus everything the homers threw at him .
