Bordeaux reach agreement with Gent for Kalu to replace Barcelona’s Malcom

French side Bordeaux has reached an agreement with Belgian outfit KAA Gent for the transfer of Nigerian attacker Samuel Kalu for a fee reported to be €15m.

The 20-year-old Nigerian is set to slot into the vaccum left by Malcom who joined Barcelona this summer from the French side.

Bordeaux took to their Twitter page to announce the agreement between the clubs for the signature of the former Trencin attacker subject to medicals and completion of other paper works.

For both Trencin and Gent, Samuel Kalu scored a total of 17 goals and assisted 24 goals in 99 appearances for both clubs since he played his first game for Trencin in 2016.
