Bridges stars as Charlotte Hornets defeat Golden State Warriors

Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Suns all win

Charlotte Hornets defeated the Golden State Warriors 106-102 in their NBA clash to put a dent on the Warriors’ impressive start to the season, keeping the Warriors at 11-2 while improving their own record to 8-7.

Miles Bridges led the scoring for the Charlotte Hornets with 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists. LaMelo Ball contributed 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the game. Steph Curry recorded a double-double with 24 points and ten assists against the Charlotte Hornets.

Chicago Bulls improved their record for the season to 9-4 after a 100-90 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in their NBA clash. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 35 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Zach LaVine contributed 29 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

Denver Nuggets improved to 9-4 after a 124-95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic led the scoring for his side with 28 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in the game.

Phoenix Suns handed the Houston Rockets their 12th defeat of the season with a 115-80 scoreline away from home. Devin Booker contributed 26 points, five rebounds and six assists, and Javale McGee contributed a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Brooklyn Nets defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-96 to improve to 10-4 for the season in the NBA. Kevin Durant led the scoring with 33 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the game. Patty Mills contributed 29 points and one assist off the bench.

Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Atlanta Hawks 120-100 in their game on Sunday. Trae Young finished the game with 42 points, eight rebounds and ten assists to help lead his side to victory.

Los Angeles Lakers won 114-106 against the San Antonio Spurs on Carmelo Anthony’s first start of the season. Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook both had double-doubles as the Lakers ran out victorious. Davis recorded 34 points and 15 rebounds, and Westbrook had 17 points and 11 rebounds in the game.
