Manchester United’s Portuguese magnifico, Bruno Fernandes was once again instrumental in their 4-0 win against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
Playing their away fixture at a neutral venue, Bruno Fernandes gave Manchester United the lead in the 27th minute. Bruno scored again in the 57th minute to make it 2-0. Marcus Rashford stepped up for a goal of his own to make it 3-0 in the 65th minute, before Daniel James found the net in the 90th minute to make it 4-0, giving them a huge advantage ahead of next week’s second leg.
Tottenham Hotspur won 4-1 away as AC Wolfsberger in their Europa League Round of 32 clash. Winger, Heung Min Son scored in the 13th minute to give Spurs the lead before a Gareth Bale strike in the 28th minute made it 2-0. Lucas Moura added his name to the scoresheet 6 minutes later as Tottenham stamped their authority. Wolfsberger pulled one back through Michael Liendl from the spot in the 55th minute before Carlos Vinicius sealed the win in the 88th minute for Tottenham as they head back to North London with a win and four away goals.
Arsenal held Benfica to a 1-1 draw in the away leg of their Europa League Round of 32 clash in Italy. Benfica took the lead through Pizzi from the penalty spot in the 55th minute of the game. The lead didn’t last, as two minutes later Arsenal were back level thanks to a goal from youngster, Bukayo Saka. The goal was Saka’s 10th career goal for Arsenal. Arsenal were guilty of missing good chances as captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang missed a number of chances to win the game for his side, but the game ended 1-1. They head back to North London and await Benfica’s arrival for an exciting second leg next week.
