Arsenal delivered another masterclass performance as they cruised to a resounding 5-0 victory over Burnley, narrowing the gap with Premier League leaders Liverpool to just two points.
The Gunners took control of the game right from the start, with Martin Odegaard breaking the deadlock just four minutes into the match.
Saka then extended Arsenal’s lead by converting a penalty after Leandro Trossard was brought down by Maxime Esteve.
Saka continued his impressive form by adding a third goal shortly after the halftime break, taking his tally to seven goals in his last six Premier League appearances. Trossard further compounded Burnley’s misery by curling in Arsenal’s fourth goal after the hour mark.
Kai Havertz put the finishing touches on Arsenal’s dominant display with a solo run and finish to make it 5-0, marking Arsenal’s 21st goal in just five Premier League matches since the winter break.
Despite Burnley’s efforts, they were unable to find a breakthrough, extending their winless streak to eight games and remaining seven points adrift of safety.
The comprehensive victory showcased Arsenal’s attacking prowess and highlighted their resurgence in the league. With the win, Arsenal continue to close in on the top spot and maintain their momentum in the title race.
