Bulls point guard Rose could be seeing double for months
Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose is likely to be experiencing double vision for at least another couple of months.
The point guard is still suffering from the problem after suffering a left orbital fracture, and it may last for another couple of months.
“[The doctors] said it could be as long as three months,” coach Fred Hoiberg said, via ESPN.
“But [the vision] has continued to improve and that’s obviously a positive.”
Rose suffered the injury in September during training camp.
The Bulls are off to a 6-3 start, but Rose is averaging a career-low 12.6 points and shooting 35.9 per cent from the field.
Despite his woeful shooting numbers, Rose says he is still adjusting.
“I’m missing a lot of shots where I normally hit,” Rose said.
“Floaters or lay-ups I normally hit, but everything else will come. Just getting my legs under me. It’s still pre-season for me … I’m still warming up.”
