Bursaspor 0 Rizespor 2: Azubuike scores 1st league goal as Awaziem, Aminu and Shehu play part

Okechukwu Azubuike scored his first ever league goal for Rizespor in their 2-0 away win against Bursaspor in a clash that involved four Nigerian players.

Aatif Chahechouhe opened the scoring for Rizespor who had three Nigerian players; Okechukwu Azubuike, Chidozie Awaziem and Aminu Umar in their starting line up.

The goal was scored in the 12th minute of the game to pile pressure on Bursaspor who at the time had Abdullahi Shehu on the bench.

The Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi was subbed on for Ramazan Keskin in the 30th minute to pair Stephane Badji in the midfield. His introduction brought stability to Bursaspor till the were breaches again in the 78th minute.

Okechukwu Azubuike who was walking into the box while his striker had his shoot paried into his path, stopped the rebound before slamming home with his right beyond the goalie.

Chidozie Awaziem and Okechukwu Azubuike were on the pitch for the entire duration of the game for Rizespor, Umar Aminu was only on for 76th minute till he was subbed off for Braian Samudio.

Shehu Abdullahi was subbed on in the 30th minute for Ramazan Keskin and he remained on the pitch for the entire duration of the game for Bursaspor.
