Busari Invites 25 Players For Flamingos’ World Cup Final Camp

Nigeria U17 women’s national team head coach, Hakeem Busari, has invited 25 players for the first phase of the team’s final camping ahead of the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.

The tournament will take place from 17 October to 7 November 2026.

The Flamingos secured their place at the World Cup after defeating Benin Republic home and away in the final round of the African qualifiers.

Nigeria have been a regular presence at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup since the tournament began in New Zealand in 2008. The country has missed only one edition, the 2018 tournament in Uruguay.

The invited players are expected to report to Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
