CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup Group Draws Set for October 28

The draws for the group stages of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will take place in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

The draws will determine the group-stage opponents for the qualified clubs as they prepare for the next stage of Africa’s two major inter-club football competitions.

The CAF Champions League brings together some of the continent’s top clubs to compete for Africa’s biggest club football title, while the Confederation Cup offers other teams the chance to win continental honours.

The draws are expected to attract attention as the participating clubs await their opponents and assess their chances of reaching the knockout stages.

Both competitions are organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
