CAF Names Referees for AFCON Third-Place Match Between Nigeria and Egypt

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the match officials for the third-place playoff at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations between Nigeria and Egypt, which will be played on Saturday.

Jalal Jayed has been named as the main referee for the match. He will be assisted by Zakaria Brinsi, Akarkad Mostafa and Hassani Khalil.

Peter Waweru Kamaku will serve as the fourth official for the game.

The video assistant referee (VAR) will be handled by Lahlou Benraham, with support from Haythem Guirat and Hamza El Fariq.

CAF also announced that Sinko Zeli will act as the referee assessor for the match.
