CAF Postpones 2024 CHAN Tournament to August
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a rescheduling of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Initially set to take place from 1 February to 28 February 2025, the biennial tournament will now be held in August. The exact dates are yet to be confirmed by CAF.
Reason for the Postponement
CAF explained that the decision was made to ensure that the infrastructure and facilities required to host the competition are of the highest standard.
Draw Details
The draw for the tournament will take place on Wednesday at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
Co-Hosting Nations
CHAN 2024 will be co-hosted by three East African countries: Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, marking a unique collaboration in hosting the prestigious event.
