Caleb Agada who stars in Nigeria win vs USA heading to NBA?

Caleb Agada one of the stand-out D’Tigers stars in Nigeria men’s basketball team historic 90-87 win against Team USA could be playing for a NBA team next season.

The 6-foot-3 guard finished with 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field which included a perfect 3-of-3 from long distance as Nigeria became the first African team to beat the Americans.

Agada, 26, currently plays for in Israel with Hapoel Be’er Sheva but could be snapped up by a NBA team.

According to reports Agada is set to represent the Denver Nuggets in the 2021 Summer League in Las Vegas.

Less than a week after the news, he reportedly worked out for the Utah Jazz.

Having gone undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Agada has previously played in the NBA Summer League (2015 – Memphis Grizzlies & Orlando; 2017 – Sacramento Kings).

Caleb Agada, recently led the basketball league in Israel in points and steals while representing the Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

If he impresses the Nuggets at the end of the summer league he could join another player of Nigerian descent Zeke Nnaji at the Franchise.

Alternatively he could join another NBA team after impressing at the end of Summer League.
