Newcastle United Upsets Manchester City, Faces Manchester United in Carabao Cup Round 4

Newcastle United faced another formidable opponent in the Carabao Cup, and this time, it’s none other than the defending champions, Manchester United.

The Magpies earned this challenging encounter after eliminating Manchester City in Round 3.

In a thrilling clash at St James’ Park, Alexander Isak’s second-half goal proved to be the difference-maker as Newcastle United secured a 1-0 victory against the treble champions, Manchester City.

The upcoming Round 4 of the Carabao Cup will feature an all-London showdown as West Ham United hosts Arsenal. Both clubs managed to secure narrow 1-0 wins in their respective matches to book their places in the next round.

Arsenal emerged victorious with a 1-0 scoreline against Brentford, while West Ham fought to a scrappy 1-0 win at Lincoln. Blackburn Rovers, who scored the highest number of goals in the previous round, will travel to London to face Chelsea.
