Carl Ikeme overwhelmed by show of love from NFF, teammates & Nigerians

An ecstatic Carl Ikeme is appreciative of the show of love meted put to him by the Nigeria Football Federation, his teammates and Nigerians.

Carl Ikeme who is currently under going treatment in England after it was confirmed that he has acute leukemia said he is just too grateful to have the people he has around him.

During NFF courtesy visit to the Wolverhampton goalie where promises were made to him, Ikeme moved by all the kind words, responded: “I am so overwhelmed by this show of love.

“I am indeed grateful to Nigerians who daily flood my phone with prayers and well wishes. I feel their love everywhere, everyday, on social media.

“I thank the Government of Nigeria and the NFF for all the support and I appreciate my teammates so much for being there for me.”
