Champions League: Como Thrash Man United as Real Madrid Beat Leipzig, Arsenal Draw with Bayern

The third matchday of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League produced exciting results on Wednesday, October 21, with Manchester United suffering a heavy defeat while Real Madrid recorded a convincing win.
One of the biggest surprises came in Italy, where Como defeated Manchester United 4-1 in a disappointing night for Michael Carrick’s side.
Como dominated much of the match, leaving United struggling to find their rhythm. The defeat was among the club’s most painful results in the competition.
In Germany, Arsenal fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Eberechi Eze gave Arsenal the lead in the 25th minute before Alphonso Davies equalised for Bayern.
Harry Kane then put the German side ahead from the penalty spot in the second half, but Declan Rice scored eight minutes from time to earn Arsenal a valuable point.
The result ended Arsenal’s 14-match winning run in the Champions League league phase. The Gunners now have seven points after three matches.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid produced an impressive performance at the Santiago Bernabéu, beating RB Leipzig 4-1.
In other matches, Galatasaray defeated Lille 4-2, while Aston Villa secured a 3-1 victory over Viking.
