CHAN Qualifier: Togo Hits Nigeria For Four

Nigeria’s Home-based Senior National Team, Super Eagles Team B on Sunday lost 4-1 to the Sparrow Hawks of Togo in a first leg, second round qualifying match of the 2020 African Nations Championship billed for Cameroon.

Ibrahim Sanusi opened the scoring in the 8th minute, with Richard Nane getting the leveler for Togo heading into the break.

Nane completed his brace in the 62nd minute with further goals from Tchakei and Agoro added the icing for the Hawks.

The second leg of the clash comes up next month in Nigeria.
