Charleroi 3 Brugge 1: Osimhen on target again

Victor Osimhen scored yet again as Sporting Charleroi beat Cercle Brugge 3-1 in a Belgian top flight league game at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi on Saturday.

After ending his 280+ minutes goalless run with a ‘wicked’ left foot strike in Charleroi 4-2 away win against Lokeren last weekend, Osimhen was on target again.

Cristian Benavente scored the first goal in then16th minute, before Victor Osimhen scored in the 53rd minute to make ot two for his side.

The Super Eagles striker ensured he continue in his momentum with a left-footed stab to increase his sides tally.

Marco Ilaimaharitra scored Charleroi’s third in the 60th minute before
Adrien Bongiovanni put one back for the visitors in the 85th minites of the game.

His effort couldn’t help bring his team back into the game as Victor Osimhen and co ran away with a comfortbale 3-1 home win.

Victor Osimhen now has seven goals in twelve league games for the Belgian outfit.
